Make sure you lock yourself away before you start this book because I promise you that you won't be able to tear yourself away from it once you start it!
The book takes place in a year's time. Going from present time to a year before coming to present time towards the end. Now when it started out in present time there was mention of a Parker but I couldn't remember a Parker from the first book (Avoiding Commitment) so I was thinking for a min I might need to re-read it but then when the past chapters started and it all fell into place.
I wanted to strangle Ramsey what in the world was he thinking? Oh and the blow up on New Year's eve I was so hurt for Lexi by his words but Lexi she's no quitter that's for sure. I am glad that she hung in there and even when it went south she still gave it a shot. Luckily when everything came to a head she really wasn't the bad guy even know it felt like she was- Ramsey set it all straight.
You will have to read it to see if Jack has the same effect on her as he always has- if your like me you will be cringing when they are together knowing what a train wreck they were and the disaster they leave in their wake. You will also have to see if she can truly be Free from his hold & if things work out for her and Ramsey. Some hot sex scenes nothing raunchy.
Can't wait for the 3rd book!!!
