The title for this book is very fitting.  For this couple, the hits just keep coming- either they are mad at one another, or someone is hurt at every turn. Their love for each other is evident throughout the book, but it doesn't stop the hurt that each of them feels by the secrets they withhold. Things get dangerous, and lives are almost lost. Throughout this journey Parker comes to the forefront and at first he's crude and rude but his soft side slowly comes out and I can't help falling in love with him a little bit. Then there's Tate and Missy- we get a bit of their story but there's something underlining with Missy that I am dying to know. Thankfully we get their story sometime this fall.  Lot's of hot, steamy, juicy sex.

I have not read the "Legal Affairs" which are all from Mac's pov. This book is from Matt's pov. 

Matt is on top of the world. He is like the title implies a litigation god, only has one night stands and loves his son more than anything else in the world. Then when he sees her again it becomes even more complicated for him. Now he has all these emotions for her and he has to keep his hands off. As you can imagine that doesn't last too long but from there it's a roller coaster ride for Matt. Mac seems to play it cool and steady through this adventure giving Matt what he wants or doesn't want. She finally is in need of self preservation and has to walk away. Matt has to figure out what is going on with his life before it's too late and he loses Mac for good. A lot of hot, steamy, juicy, raunchy sex. Fabulous ending.

I felt Brad’s hand move, tugging on my chair and pulling me close to him. I have to say Julia & Brad are my favorite couple so far this year.

As their story unfolds Brad gets caught off guard with his feelings for Julia. It is a beautiful thing to see a man like Brad fall to his knees for a women. Things get crazy when a body turns up, and Julia's life is in danger. Brad will stop at nothing to make sure she safe. A lot of hot, kinky, raunchy, juicy sex- grab a fan ladies!
