At the end of "Night after Night" Clay leaves Julia because she is keeping secrets from him. This is Clay's no bend rule - no secrets. Julia is just trying to protect him and everyone else close to her so she has excepted that Clay was gone forever. Clay cannot get her out of his head and makes contact, he thinks if he keeps things at a distance and doesn't see her he can get over her. How wrong he was. When he does see her he knows we will take whatever he can get and on any terms. Julia has a light bulb moment and knows what she has to do because she wants Clay and not just for a short time. Things go from good to scary to crappy again. Lots of hot, juicy, steamy sex. These two need to get over their hard rules and realize not everything is black and white.
