Eroe ( St. Andrews: A Sabato Origin Story) Ties of Steel Book 3
Sabato Efisto was born from an unholy union, the bastard son of a martyred saint and the Devil. At least, that's what he's believed, for most of his life.
His father is an Italian crime lord, a man so dangerous that Sabato's mother died trying to get away from him. For that tragedy, which happened on his seventh birthday, Sabato blames himself. Every year, he practices the ritual of self-punishment, flirting with death the way most boys his age flirt with girls.
Until ten years later, when he meets a sweet girl named Luciana, at St. Andrews of the Holy Cross. For the first time in his life, Sabato doesn't want to end it. The darkness in his soul is replaced by hope. But, as the priests will tell you, the sins of the father are not easily escaped. And those who are born into darkness, must carry that cross forever....
Sabato loved his mother so much it was heart breaking. Her death causes him to be a reckless young man. When he meets Luciana he is very abrasive with her but she breaks down his walls until he only see's her. They want to spend the rest of their lives together but they both come from very different backgrounds and it's going to be messy, very messy. Their story ends but I have a feeling it's not over.
The sex scenes were hot & steamy just like all MJ's books are!
We also got the first chapter of "Sabato's" story!

This causes her to perk up and evaluate what she looks like. As luck would have it she looks like a deranged college student. I never understood the phrase there’s a thin line between love and hate, until Dallas Wesson and I, became us.
The beautiful green-eyed biker with the broken soul tantalizes me with glimpses of the man behind the vest. He‘s gravity. I have no choice but to return to him, regardless of what it costs me. Our story is messy, unconventional, uninhibited, and insane. Still, it’s real, and until now it’s always been more than enough. I’m broken, bleeding out, and completely wrecked. I walk away. Yet, he refuses to let me go. Because no matter how much I resist him we both know what lies between us is for always.
Cora & Dallas were destined for each other. They loved each other from afar until Dallas felt comfortable making Cora his. They had an explosive union but nothing that feels that right goes well. How Dallas is and what he has gone through is no secret but yet Cora seems to hold it against him when he can't handle things. They also bring another couple into the relationship. At first it was hot but it just diluted the love Cora & Dallas had for each other making their relationship that special. The sex scenes were hot & steamy. The ending was a cliffhanger.
Nashville meets New Adult in Neon Dreams, a dramatic, sexy series from bestselling author Caisey Quinn, about a country band’s rocky road to fame—and the ambition, dreams, and love of the people who make the music.
Dixie Lark hasn’t had it easy. She lost her parents in an accident when she was young and grew up in a ramshackle house on a dirt road in Amarillo with her ailing grandparents and overprotective older brother. Thanks to her grandfather, Dixie learned to play a mean fiddle, inspired by the sounds of the greats—Johnny and June, Waylon, and Hank. Her grandfather’s fiddle changed Dixie’s life forever, giving her an outlet for the turmoil of her broken heart and inspiring a daring dream.
Ten years later, Dixie and her brother, Dallas, are creating the music they love and chasing fame with their hot band, Leaving Amarillo. But Dixie isn’t enjoying the ride. All she can think about is Gavin, the band’s tattooed, tortured drummer who she’s loved since they were kids. She knows he feels the connection between them, but he refuses see her as more than his best friend’s little sister.
Convinced that one night with Gavin will get him out of her system, Dixie devises a plan. She doesn’t know that her brother has forbidden Gavin from making a move on her-a promise he swore he’d always keep . . . a promise that once broken will unexpectedly change the future for Dixie, Gavin and the band.
This is Dixie's journey in getting what she wants, Gavin. There ends up being so many more lessons that she learns along the way than getting what you want. Gavin is haunted by his past and is chained to a mother who he should be running far away from. When Dixie starts making her moves on him he can't fight his attraction to her any longer and soon realizes it's more than just a physical connection they have. He needs to do what's right for him for once and go after what he really wants. As their band starts to get noticed it doesn't go as they all had planned and things are about to change in a big way. Some sex scenes - they were hot & steamy. The ending now that was odd because finally Gavin is on the right track to Dixie but Dixie is on her own adventure so we are left not knowing how things end for these two. The next book is Dallas' book and I can only assume things will be set straight as far as Gavin & Dixie are concerned in that book.
But here, where I am right now, Gavin Garrison is making
love to me with his eyes. And I don’t want him to stop. Ever.
He’s not watching you like he’s worried you’ll screw up.
He’s watching you like he’s worried you’ll disappear and take his heart with
I don’t know when I became this pathetic mess so
completely codependent on the happiness of someone who has told me in no
uncertain terms that he will never cross the friendship line with me, but here
I will make it impossible for him to say no, somehow. I
have five floors on the elevator to figure it out. My heart rises into my
throat as we make our way upward.
“All I can think about is how good this ice cream would
taste if I was licking it off your body instead of this plastic spoon.”
