I did not read this book but heard it- audio book. This is my third audio book and I have to say its a bit like reading a book verse seeing the movie. I think reading it is better than listening but with my two hour commute it is safer for those on the road if I listen verse read. This audio book was only a female voice which I like better than when it has a man & women's voice. The mans voice is never manly enough it seems.
Rafe is a super rich, very handsome, dickhead. Ari is nerdy, quite & beautiful (but she does not know it). When Rafe meets Ari he is mesmerized by her. She is nothing like any of his previous mistresses and she is quite mouthy when it comes to telling Rafe off. Rafe is relentless in his pursuit and Ari becomes more determined to not give in to him. They have a physical chemistry that is undeniable, but that is not enough for Ari. If Rafe would stop treating things like a business transaction he would get a lot further with her. Rafe has many sides to him throughout the book and for this reason Ari's feelings are all over the place. Some hot, steamy sex scenes. Make sure you have book two ready the ending leaves you wanting more. As the next three books continue the stories of Rafe's sisters unfold as well.
