I have not read the "Legal Affairs" which are all from Mac's pov. This book is from Matt's pov.
Matt is on top of the world. He is like the title implies a litigation god, only has one night stands and loves his son more than anything else in the world. When he hooks up with Mac for one night things instant become complicated for Matt. He never wants more than one night, but he can't stop thinking about her. Then when he sees her again it becomes even more complicated for him. Now he has all these emotions for her and he has to keep his hands off. As you can imagine that doesn't last too long but from there it's a roller coaster ride for Matt. Mac seems to play it cool and steady through this adventure giving Matt what he wants or doesn't want. She finally is in need of self preservation and has to walk away. Matt has to figure out what is going on with his life before it's too late and he loses Mac for good. A lot of hot, steamy, juicy, raunchy sex. Fabulous ending.
