Rock the Band is a Novella.
What is a Novella?
It's longer than a Novelette (which is longer than a short story)
but shorter than a Novel.
Novelette has a word count of between 7,500 and 17,500.
Novella has a word count of between 17,500 and 40,000
Novel has a word count of more than 40,000
