Bliss had her memories of Nate and she held on to them with all she had. Its understandable why she didn't want to reach out to him when she got sick but I can't stay most of us would have done something so noble. Bliss's silence so long ago shaped how Nate saw his future but he didn't see it as wrong. When they come face to face after so many years feels are just as strong as they were back then but they can't act on them. Nate decides to act as he doesn't know Bliss and she is ok with it not wanting to cause issues. Before long everything comes out and Nate realizes Bliss has been what was missing in his life. Of course things don't go smoothly and just when it looks like it's going to work out with them it all goes to crap. It will have a confession to unburden Nate so he can finally see his future. Some hot, steamy sex scenes. Fantastic ending.
*if you have read the sea breeze and rosemary beach books it will be fun to read about those characters off spring.
