This was a very long audio book about 13 hours. Good Narrator voices.
Faye is the towns quite pretty librarian. She has had a crush on Chase since she first saw him when she was a teenager. Because she was crushing on him with all she had she never dated anyone. She had left carnal for college and since her return things in town have gone from bad to good. Chase was the man that was mostly responsible for that bad turning to good but he lost his wife in that mess. When he comes face to face with Faye he's not really nice to her. Turns out he was trying to push her away because he didn't think he deserves someone as good as her. He too has longed to be with her since he first saw her but things didn't go as he had hoped. These two have a lot of things to get through not only personally but there's a boy that needs help and because Faye is determined help him Chase is determined to help her. Once everything gets settle between them and then with the boy the last bit of the bad it town surfaces and Faye is right in their sites. It's a group effort with a time limit before things can go from bad to devastating. A lot of hot juicy steamy sex scenes. Fantastic ending.
