Synopsis:
Ex-Army Ranger, Brand Killien, has always been good.
A good friend, a good soldier, a good everything. .

We get to know Brand in "Before We Fall" and sadly he got the raw end of the deal with Jacey but everything happens for a reason. Brand is not only hot but brave, strong & loyal. He has a haunted past that has him going home in hopes for a bit of closure. Nora's life has been planned out for her since the day she was born. She feels trapped and helpless but when an explosion puts her long time crush within her grasp, she decides that she's going to make it count. It takes some persuading to get Brand to give into Nora's proposition but when he does things get hot and heavy fast. Nora knows her happy bubble can't last forever and when she is summoned she decides she has to take matters into her own hands. Brand is heart broken when Nora leaves but when he figures out she didn't want to leave he is determined to find her. Things get crazy, and Brand has to stop Nora from making a huge mistake. Nora has some big family secrets that come out. Brand and Nora get their happily ever after. Some hot, juicy sex. Fabulous ending.
