It's hard to trust anyone anymore. Everyone is suspect. And I have no reprieve, no rest. I can't sleep after all I've been through.
Sean is slipping away, receding back into the monster he was. Alone, I'm being smothered by death's cold shroud. Too many people have died -- this ends tonight. If it kills me, so be it.

I know this series is fan driven, but I don't know how much more I can take!
There is so much unknown that is drives me batty but with every installment I am mesmerized. Now we finally know who is after Avery but the why is still out there. If Sean and Avery don't figure out that they need to be together, I might scream seriously their back and forth is insane when they clearly love each other. Trystan is in this installment and now I need to read his books because I need to know his story. The ending was a bloody sad one.
