I couldn’t believe what I had done, what I had allowed Sean to do to me. Oh my goodness I wanted to beat the crap out of Claudia because she was going to betray Sean. I know that he is part of the Mob but she knows he's not a bad person so why can't she just be with him. She fights herself so much it was infuriating but once Sean laid his lips on her she melted into the passion that rages between them. Turns out Claudia is a Bad Ass! and what the hell is Clayton up to? 

There is no HEA in this installment either. I have a feeling things are going to get even more crazy in the next installment "Avenger"

Knight

Anya Gage has learned that to get anything good in life, you have to work for it. She has no expectations, no dreams.

But when Anya comes to his nightclub and finds herself in a situation, he knows someone has to look after her, he can’t fight it anymore and he decides that man will be him.

Knight teaches Anya that, just as with the bad, in life you should also expect the good. And he teaches her this by giving it to her.

But Knight has a dark past and just as he desires Anya for exactly who she is, he fears when she finds out exactly the man he has become and always intends to be, she’ll leave him for good, normal and clean.

There are only 2 reasons I gave this book a 3 Lady Porns.

The first one well I really wouldn't knock a book for this but the cover stinks I may have read this book sooner if the cover drew me in but it's boring.

Now this one is really the reason- Knight does not know how to speak! I think he was taught Caveman language. I had to re-read his parts several times so I could try to make sense of it.

He's kind of a gangster but still even gangsters use all their words.

Ok now that's all I did not like about the book even know #2 is kind of a big deal.

The story line was Fabulous. There were some twists I didn't see coming. Even Knights beliefs on Holiday's and Marriage I didn't see coming. I still fell in love with Knight even know he talks like a tool. Knight is a bit controlling and personally I would have a hard time with his ways seemed to be perfect for Anya. There's some side stories with Anya's friends that make things interesting. Lots of Hot Steamy Sex!

There's an Epilogue!!

Fabulous ending.
