Sometimes one good dose of trouble could turn your life around, put you on the right path. But I'd taken the opposite side of the forked road and headed off looking for even more trouble, like a junkie constantly searching for the next high. This book wasn't bad or anything I just personally didn't connect with the characters, for me it felt like something was missing. Jacy has lived through a horrid past and she is skiddish when it comes to men. When she first meets Ledger she has an instant connection like she has known him her whole life. He makes her feel safe but she has to get over the past just a bit to take the leap to move forward with him. Things are touchy for a bit but soon enough Jacy takes that leap. At first it seems Ledger is just trying to start a new life for himself, now he is but the reason he ended up where Jacy is ends up not being by chance. Jacy's past eventually comes out and the reason why Ledger is in town is what throws everything off course. Danger brings them back together and this time for keeps. Some hot sex scenes. Good ending.
