Sawyer Reed was a football god in high school but now that he's in college things or should I say pussy isn't coming to him as easily. It will though when they find out he is a star on the field. Gretchen goes into getting to know Sawyer with a plan - just friends. She is so hot & cold with him it will frustrate you. Sawyer is a prideful man & even when she is saying crappy things to her we know deep down he is just struggling with his feelings. Finally Gretchen abandons her plan & gives in to her feelings for Sawyer. Things are blissful but it all comes crashing down. Sawyer goes through a lot at the end of the book and it's a beautiful thing to see him change into the man that was always just below the surface . Some amazingly hot sex scenes. Fantastic ending.
