This is book 1
This book sets up the main characters in each of the following books. They are all in the Marines and this book explains either why they went in the military or what brought them to the next point in their life. The first guy Adam I was a bit concerned where the story was going since he was 40 and the girl was 16 but luckily it didn't turn creepy! Then there's Mark his story is about why he went into the military and his family. Last was the most disturbing story about Orlando (that's his last name) well he is just out of options but the girl he meets before going in the military her story is beyond sad. It's very graphic and a bit disturbing. That is the story I am most wanting to read the follow up to to make sure she is ok but that book isn't due out until Sept 14, 2012
