I have read this series out of order which didn't effect my enjoyment but you do get bits of previous couples throughout each book.
Cora is a spit fire to say the least. She has been hurt by love so she has a set of ideals that no one could ever live up to. Rome is a hulking damaged beautiful man trying to keep it together. There is definitely an attraction between them and one morning of it getting out of hand leads to a life altering decision. Now Rome is all in but is Cora? Hot steamy juicy sex scenes. Fabulous ending sets you up for the next book "Nash".
