I have yet to read a more stubborn women than Kadence!
The attraction between these two is undeniable, but Kadence won't let her body or heart have what it wants without a fight. She has one smart mouth, but this just spurs Nix on more. Nix has never had to work to get women, but Kadence isn't what he normally goes for. He is up for the challenge, and he knows Kadence is about to turn his world upside down. Not only are these two fighting to find their way, but Kadence's past comes back with a vengeance. Things get dangerous and scary before they settle down. Lot's of hot, juicy, steamy sex. There's a story brewing in the background with Holly and Sy - their story is coming this fall. Fabulous ending.

Sy tries to stay away from Holly but when he can't take it anymore, he gives in and takes her. He is actually a complete douchebag to Holly at the beginning. Holly is kind of hurt by Sy's actions, but she doesn't let it get to her but then things change. When she is at her lowest point and can't see the light Sy is there. They become friends and Sy for the first time in a long time feels the weight of his past lifting off his shoulders. It's a bumpy ride for these two, but Sy stays vigilant in his pursuit of Holly. A lot of hot, juicy sex scenes. Fabulous ending.

It's heart breaking to read how much Kadence struggles with being a mother. It's just as heart breaking reading how helpless Nix is when it comes to fixing his wife. It's a long stressful road for these two to get back to where they were but Kadence eventually comes back to herself. Now Nix just has to get over his fear. One hot sex scene. Fantastic ending.
