Saylor had a rough go of it with her ex-boyfriend, but she even more upset with herself for staying so long. She never thought she would run into the one man that caused her such heartache back in high school. Not only is Cord Gentry hotter than he was back then but he seems to be a gentleman now only Saylor isn't so trusting this time. These two end up forming a friendship that leads to more. Cord has a haunting past that he opens up about, but he still has demons to fight and in the process he could loose Saylor. Saylor isn't sure she can deal with Cord's demons but when she takes a visit back, home things become clear to her. A lot of hot, steamy, juicy sex scenes. Fabulous ending.
