I live for the pain; it’s what drives me to keep moving. But there comes a time when one has to push the demons aside in order to survive. 

I thought I buried them deep. I thought I was ready to finally live. Until… my brother, Alex; he throws me into the fire—right into the place I could never control myself, the one place I never want to be again.

Lyric is a tough cookie. She does what she wants when she wants. So when she sets her sights on Memphis he has no chance of shaking her. He tries to resist her but she is like no other women he has ever met. When these two finally seal the deal it's explosive.  Memphis just wants to keep her safe and as far away from him as possible but his heart wants her. He has to do something to keep his brother and her safe and he knows he will probably be paying with his life.  Little does he know that Lyric has the power to keep him safe she just has to get to him in time. The sex scenes were amazingly Hot. The ending was fabulous.
