Charade

The author alternates between Cheyenne & Colt's point of view with each chapter so you know what is going on in each of their heads with is always good to know.

This book was a easy read because it held my interest at every page.

I love how Colt thinks Cheyenne is a "Princess" when really she is just as damaged and broken as he is. Watching Colt's defenses come down and finally see that he loves Cheyenne is almost heart breaking - in a good way. Some hot steamy sex scenes but nothing raunchy.

Good ending and as always I would love for their story to continue but am happy with it as is.

The ending left me hanging enough to know there HAS to be another book coming soon.

My Favorite Mistake

Taylor Caldwell can't decide if she wants to kiss her new college roommate or punch him.

Taylor really is an angry girl. I was kind of getting mad at Taylor since Hunter was opening up to her telling her all his secrets but she was less than forth coming with him. You can't help but fall in love with Hunter he was a Sweet Bad Boy! Most of the things that Taylor claimed Hunter was doing or say that made him an ass seemed rather mild to me & when he really exploded on her I thought she kind of had it coming. There was a lot of sexual tension. A few sex scenes that were tame but loving. Fairly good ending meaning it had closure but left you wanting more. From what I read from the author there will be a book 2.

This is a hot short story- it doesn't give you the page #'s 

but I finished it on the treadmill in an hour.

I was Captivated but the story line. 

It was kind of heart breaking that they spent so much time apart not realizing they were meant to be together. Well it's not that easy as Lacey is a small town school teacher and Mark is all Hollywood so Mark will need to do a lot of convincing to make Lacey see that what they have is something worth fighting for. Just a little sex nothing  raunchy or over the top. 

Ending is good and there is more that could be told 
or not either way I was happy with it.

Interview with Diane Alberts

• • What inspires you to write? 

I’ve always been in love with reading. I love seeing the story unfold, and love falling in love with characters. When I sit down to write, I aim to make the reader get immersed in a tale of love for a few hours, or days, depending on the length.

That’s my inspiration. To give someone an escape for however long they need it. Reading is about escaping the real life pressures—and getting lost in someone else’s. At least, that’s what it is to me.

• • When you end a book do you like a Totally happily every after or just enough loose ends that you could write another book?

It depends! If they used to know one another, like in Captivated By You, then I tend to go for the happily-ever-after ending where they profess their love. If they didn’t, and the book progresses slowly, I’ll go for the happy-for-now, without the white wedding and the fancy words. 

But I rarely ever leave room for loose plot strands. I generally only write one book per couple, so I tend to close things up with that couple nicely. Each book seems to want something else from me, and I’m always willing to listen. That’s one of the best parts about being a writer.

• • How do you feel about Epilogues?

LOVE them! I use them as much as I can, if the story fits well. Once again, it’s one of those things that depends on the storyline, but I’m a huge fan of giving the reader a flash-forward of what the character’s life is like after the ending.

When I do an epilogue, it’s almost always my favorite part of the book. Hands down.

• • On average how long does it take you to write a book? 

Oh, that one varies. It depends on how long the book is, and how easily it comes out. My latest book, Captivated By You, didn’t fight me much. It’s also a short novella, perfect for a night’s reading after a long, hectic holiday day, and I’d say it took me about a week to finish the first draft.

I read "Rock Me" so long ago I didn't realize this was book based on characters from "Rock Me".

I suggest reading "Rock Me" first so you can get more of Brian and Candance's story.

Wow this is a Hot book!

Lots of Hot juicy sex scenes and a romance too boot!

I couldn't put this book down-it's fast paces and there is not one lull in story.

I loved how Macy came out of her shell - well you could tell she was a BA (bad ass) but she kept it under wraps- then she let's her BA out and it was Awesome!

I can't say enough good things about this book.

This was a fairly quick read 162 pages.

It definitely kept you sucked it with Evies' lack of worldly knowledge and of course her lack of sexual experience. I was surprised by how much she actually did know as the book went on. The whole innocences of their first times together is very hot even know it doesn't go very far. I am was surprised that there wasn't more details about Evie's father and his abuse or that she didn't even get caught when she smoked pot (sorry a bit of a spoiler). There is an event that happens with her mother which too I am surprised is not elaborate on. When she finally gets out from under her fathers thumb she finds solace in Van but still insists on making her own way. The ending had fairly good closure.

Breaking Sin

Sinthia wants to escape college unscathed and move on with her plans for a perfect life, but an unlikely friendship with Collin, the resident bad-boy, makes her rethink what she wants.

This book is a quick read 130 pages

I actually read it in a hour on the treadmill!

If you have read Beautiful Disaster it's along the same lines as that book. 

I love that book and this book as well.

Sin and Collin become Best Friends but really they are in love with each other it just takes one night for Sin to realize it and that one night changes everything. 

It's a fast paced book, no hot sex scenes but really you don't need them. Teresa Mummert has never failed to keep my attention right until the end. The ending is the best when you get a glimpse into the future.

The Secret of Ella and Micha

Ella and Micha have been best friends since they were kids. But one tragic night shatters their friendship and their lives forever.

Ella used to be a rule-breaker with fiery attitude who wore her heart on her sleeve. But she left everything behind when she went to college and transformed into someone that follows the rules, keeps everything together, and hides all her problems. Well after the first few chapters I wanted to slap Ella upside her head! She up and leaves Micha then comes back with a bit of an attitude towards him seeing how it was her hang up's that sent her running. Their story really had my heart racing I felt like I was right there with them. Just when I thought things were going to totally work out for them they both get offers they can't refuse but thankfully they seemed to work it out but we know it's not that easy!

 That's where it ends! Arggghhhhh!!!!! 

No raunchy sex scenes with details very vague but still very HOT!

The Forever of Ella and Micha comes out November 3rd, 2012

There is also another couple in the book Lila & Ethan but you don't know what is going on with them but they get their own book! which I am sure will have bit's about Ella & Micha in it as well.

Well at first I did not see how this book could move along without being a billion pages long & being only 262 pages I thought there was no way the story could progress at a stead believable pace. Oh was I so Wrong! 

Hot sex scenes - not dripping in raunchiness but fairly detailed.

Along with hot sex the story was utterly romantic!

I love YA books such love in them. 

The author writes in past & present tense but she does it consistency so you know its coming which keeps things straight. 

It was a fasted paced book. 

To bad they had to come back together over tragedy but sometimes that's what it takes to realize what is most important. 

There was an event that lead to their demise it was what I thought it would be but I still wasn't sure until the words were written. 

The end was good of course we all want more but it didn't leave you hanging. 

A beautiful love story!

Now this book jumps around from past to present tense & I could myself not knowing which was which at times. It also seems to drag out just a bit. It's a hot mess this thing between Katie & Johnny. A few (ok 2) sex scenes not all that raunchy. Good ending.

Lots of hot sex plus a great story line. This is my first Olivia Cunning book & I can tell you I'll be reading more. Lots of twists in this one. The ending was good and left you thinking you totally wanted more but if you didn't get it you would be good with it. Then I looked to see what other books were the author had an Oh my there is a book #2 in the series Woo Hoo! There are going to be more books as well just not out yet.

Great Book- I was concerned with the reviews I read that seemed to say the author left you hanging at the end so I was hesitant on reading it because I didn't want to feel like I was missing something. I contacted the author and she has told me that there will be another book. Knowing this I dove in.

Short Hot book at 104 pages. 

The author does a great job making the book not feel rushed. 

Hot sex throughout. The ending did leave room for another book but it didn't leave me hanging like I was expecting it to. I could have read the book and be fine knowing it was the end. However I am glad that their story will go on.

Dane

This is a straight up Love story & every now & a again you need just some straight up romance.

The story starts out fast & to the point. As the years pass thats when it seemed to drag out a bit for me. I knew where the end result needed to be for a happy ending but it seemed to take a long time to get there. The author gave prospective for both Christian's & Elizabeth's side which I always love because this way your not left wondering. 

Lots of hurt & forgiveness in this book.
