This story is told in a different way than most books I read, and it is refreshing.

What happens to Carmen is absolutely horrible which leads her to not trusting men which has her running from Gavin every time them "Bump" into each other. Gavin has walls in place because women are only after one thing from him, but when he spots Carmen for the first time there is no doubt in his mind that he has to get to know her. Gaven can not get her to stay still long enough to have a conversation. As fate would have it these two are forced together, and Gavin it taking the opportunity to get to know Carmen. The thing that was a total turn off was that they fell in love and spoke those words in less than a week knowing each other. I personally think this could be avoided by putting some time lapse in there like everything was great for the past month kind of thing.  Jimmy is a problem in throughout causing a few scary moments for Carmen. Lots of hot steamy sex. Fabulous Ending.

I raised up on my tippy-toes to peer through the peephole in the door, a recent addition courtesy of Hunter, and saw nothing but a wall of black.  I paused for a moment, wondering if the person on the other side placed their thumb over the glass, but dismissed the idea when I noticed the contours of the black abyss before me.  I verified that the security chain was engaged before unlocking the deadbolt and opening the door.

Holy moly this book on one big cluster. Why Courtney even entertained letting Phillip back in was beyond crazy. I will admit I was almost convinced he had turned a new leaf but then the final blow actually came as a shock to me. Then there's Jaxon, he's hotter than hot but he doesn't give much personal info away and when asked he gets angry. The biggest secret he keeps from Courtney I know will break them. The ending is heart wrenching. Some hot sex scenes. Ending was good I was glad to know that Courtney & Jaxon's story didn't end there because it was no HEA & I guess  you could say it was a cliff hanger.

Jesse is one major man whore! Lots of hot raunchy sex scenes with him. Niki & Jesse don't actually meet until mid way through the book. They have an instant attraction but things get messy from the get go. Once things seem to smooth out something rears it's ugly head and blows it all apart. I personally think Niki is overreacting but she has her reasons I suppose. Things move a bit fast towards the end of the book but the attraction they have is powerful so it's all good. The ending will leave you wanting more- Kind of a bombshell ending.

I couldn't help but feel sorry for Landry because by gosh nothing seemed to be going right and he knew exactly what he was doing wrong each time. Just when I thought oh finally things are going to start swinging his way NOPE! It's really a story about seeing what is right in front of you. Seems Landry's life past and present all comes together in a matter a few days. At the end of those few days he sees clearly what he wants and tries with all he has to get it. You will have to read to see if it all works out for Landry. A few hot sex scenes nothing raunchy.

 The ending was Fantastic and there was even a Epilogue ( I LOVE Epilogue's!!).
