~Review~

Quinn is skittish because of her haunted past. She finds solace in the closest thing to family she has and now she is trying to start her life over.  She is surrounded by big, fierce men that could hurt her but she knows down deep that none of them will. She has to find away to get over her fears. All the men are attractive but Rick is the one that Quinn can't stop thinking about. He seems to care about her but she has issues that are holding her back. Rick has had his share of beautiful women but none quite like Quinn. She has take up space in his thoughts and no matter what he does he can't shake her. Things finally get to much for them both and it's an explosive night of hot, steamy forever change you sex. The next morning it all get's messy. Cliffhanger ending.

RICK SMILED AS he stood on the small landing just outside of the tiny apartment above Sanctum. He could hear loud music playing inside, some top forty crap. What was Quinn doing— dancing, singing, cleaning while dancing and singing? The locks disengaged and the door swung wide open. Rick nearly choked on his tongue at the sight in front of him. Quinn was standing on the threshold with a light sheen of sweat on her body, her hair pulled into a high ponytail, and wearing only a tiny blue sports bra and a pair of shorts so small they couldn’t possibly be legal to wear out in public. Holy hell, I’m going to croak right here on her doorstep. “Rick. What are you doing here?” Quinn’s amber eyes shone, but her face looked confused. “Ummmm,” Jesus. He couldn’t think with her half naked and within arms length, it was too damn distracting. Her pale thighs were smooth and toned. All he could imagine was having them wrapped around his waist. “I uh, I mean… shit. I was going to bring you to the store again. If… if you wanted, I mean.” Damn, I sound like a complete and total idiot. Quinn’s already flushed cheeks turned an even darker shade of crimson as he stammered in her doorway. Her eyes cast downward until she was staring at her own feet. Rick marveled over how long and thick her eyelashes were against her pale skin. Her lush pink mouth captivated him as she licked her lips nervously. This was a bad idea. His dick had a mind of it’s own whenever he was around Quinn and it was beginning to throb inside his jeans. He hadn’t gotten off since the pathetically unsatisfying experience on Sunday night and jerking in the shower at work and his cock was taking notice. “You came here just to see if I needed another ride?” Once again, when Quinn’s shy but pleased gaze lifted to Rick’s face, it hit him like a punch to the gut. He’d seen his share of beautiful women, hell, he’d had his share of beautiful women. But nothing he’d seen in his twenty-eight years would ever compare to the absolute perfection of Quinn Wallace. Mesmerized, Rick could only nod. The small smile she rewarded him with made his discomfort totally worth it. Like another hit of an addict’s favorite drug, Rick would probably give anything to see her smile more often. Quinn always looked sad, weary. Giving her a little bit of happiness, if only for something as simple as grocery shopping, seemed like a fair trade for a constant, aching hard-on, the inability to enjoy his usual no strings sex, and never ending mental torture. “Yeah, I came to see if you needed another ride. Is that alright with you, doll?” Quinn’s gorgeous face relaxed, her smile becoming wider. There were those adorable crinkles around her eyes again. “Yes, it’s fine. Let me just throw on a shirt. Uh, come in and just… wait here.” He was pleased that she finally stopped telling him not to call her doll. She was a doll, his doll. Rick watched her tight ass as she scurried off to what he assumed was her bedroom. He groaned at the thought of her and her ass anywhere near a bed. As surreptitiously as possible, he adjusted his painful hard on. Get your shit together, Brennan. Minutes later, Quinn emerged with a small pink shirt pulled over her sports bra. She was still wearing the tiny, cheek hugging shorts. As he followed her out of the apartment, her delectable back end swaying with each step, Rick wondered if he had lost his fucking mind.

Asher & Audrey have a strained past. Audrey is back now and when she sees Ash for the first time she is pissed that her body is still drawn to him because she's pretty sure she hates him. Asher is living a nightmare, and he doesn't seem to have a way out. When he sees Audrey again, he can't believe it- he thought he would never see her again. An event brings them close but Ash runs every time they get close. He thinks he's protecting Audrey but pushing her away. Audrey wises up and is now in for a fight. Things get hairy for awhile but eventually it all smoothes out. A few hot sex scenes. 

Ending was good. The writing was great and the characters were likable it's just Asher was not as Alpha as I would have liked he was hot but beaten down.

This book is one of those books that has so much emotion you almost have to put it down.

My gosh what Chance put Norma though was beyond awful. However what Norma was going to do to Chance was just as heart breaking. Just when I thought things were going to work out with them BAM. I had to put the book down at this point my heart just couldn't take it. 

Then years past~ yes, years. What happened in those years was horrid. I just hoped Chance and Norma would find their way back to each other. They did but it was messy and what happened in those years they were apart was going to tear them up. As I'm reading I realize that most the characters from "This Beautiful Thing" are in this book as well- I didn't expect that at all-Nice Surprise Amanda Heath!

Fantastic Ending & an Epilogue to Rocks!

This book goes from past to present tense. This is so you will know why Gabby is so "Broken". There were some paragraphs that were in the males (there are 2 important males in this book) POV but I didn't realize it so I had to reread the paragraph to make sure what was going on. It's heart breaking what happened to Gabby and part of her heart breaking story has yet to come out. I was sort of annoyed on how Gabby consistently said that things would not work out between her and Bradley before they even started. It's a short read at 170 pages. There are no Hot Sex scenes but lots of sexual tension. 
The ending was good but left you needing more, much more. 
Good thing there's a second book called Mending.

This book is such an emotional drainer. 

As I just finished it up I have a huge pit in my stomach and feel like crying!

 What the hell can a book even do that to someone? 

Kayden & Callie have demons but they finally let each other in - not all the way but enough. Just when things start going , gosh I can't even say they are going good for them but rather they really connect it all comes crumbling down. The ending made me want to chuck my ereader across the room!

 For real Jessica Sorensen you left it like that?Lol.  I know you have another book up your sleeve there is no way you can leave it like that they need one hell of a HEA!

Wow pretty much sum's this book up for me.

So much going on I actually lost sleep over it!
(I should have just stayed up and finished it) 

Author Colleen Hoover really thought of everything even down to the name of the book "Hopeless" which really was clever. This emotional ride is heart wrenching and warming at the same time. Horrible acts happened but the bond between two people only got stronger as all the secrets came out. There were parts of the book that I was thinking what the hell was Holder 
doing but as their story progressed everything made sense. A lot going on in this book a page turn all the way through. 

No raunchy sex, some tender love making. 
My heart was full of love with this one.

This is a straight up Young Adult book No hot sex scenes -

 Which is totally cool sometimes I just need some
 straight up heart thumping Love!

At first I was not digging Sydney I couldn't figure out why she was getting jealous over Grant when she only hung out with him for a few days and she had a totally hot boyfriend- now that doesn't mean I didn't feel her jealously and I'm pretty sure I would have felt the same way- didn't make it right. Slowly psycho Trevor came out and her excuses began- which made me want to slap her. Grant now he is truly a Dream in every way possible!

Heart warming love story. 

I love that the author Steph Campbell gives a website for abuse and hotline for young girls (or young men I'm sure) can get help if they are in a similar situation.

First off this is a tortuous book but I mean that in a good way!
My gosh it took for ever - years for Cassidy and Gage to finally figure out that Ty was keep them from each other- it was almost ridiculous and my heart was aching so bad for Gage. Cassidy had Ty but Gage he was all alone. Just when things are going as planned an event happens and scares Cassidy to leave and not tell Gage- again tortuous and heart wrenching I could just imagine him going out of his mind. Then when I thought it couldn't get worse Cassidy meets someone she had meet long ago and sparks fly. I was thinking there is no way that the author Molly McAdams is going to let this story go down like this having Cassidy fall in love with someone else- I was dying and couldn't put the book down at this point. I won't tell you anymore just go read it! Now the ending was awesome and Author Molly McAdams has a way of leaving no stone unturned when it comes to endings she really buttons it all up for us! If you haven't read Taking Chances then I suggest you read that one as well.
Hot steamy sex but no raunch.
