Kenzie is seriously pissed off at Ian. She can't believe he turned her down. Little does she know that Ian wants her very much but he doesn't think he is good enough for her. Now she works at the gym he is at every day.... Torture, for both of them. When an injury lands Kenzie up close and personal with Ian they can only fight their attraction for so long. Just when she wants to give into this thing between them a burly gym owner ends up pulling her strings forcing her to do whats best for Ian. After a long painful dance everything comes to a head. Once the dust settles Kenzie finally gives into the feelings she has for Ian. All Ian wants to do is love and protect her. Some hot, steamy sex scenes. Fabulous ending.

“So, it’s true then?”

My breathing stopped. “What’s true?” I asked cautiously.

“That you don’t have sex before a big fight.” Her look was so innocent and hopeful, yet it still took me a second to figure out why she was asking this.

“Yes,” I finally answered. Her cute little frame seemed to relax a little, making me feel—once again—like a total dick. She didn’t know I paid Sara; she was talking about something completely different, about the night we almost hooked up. The night I told her I couldn’t because I had a fight the next day.

She chewed at the inside of her cheek a moment, maybe considering what I’d just said. Shit, that meant she thought I’d just made that up to get rid of her. Not fucking likely. Putting the brakes on that night had been the hardest thing I’d ever done.

“So,” she said as she looked up at me innocently through her eyelashes. “What does that do? For a fighter, I mean.”

I chuckled. “You mean besides frustrate the hell out of us?”

She smiled—thank fucking goodness—then nodded for me to continue.

“You know that stereotype that most guys are boneheaded cave dwellers driven by instinct?”

“Is it considered a stereotype if it’s true?” she said, then giggled.

God, she had a great laugh.

I nodded. “That’s what I was getting at. On some very basic level, we fight in order to survive and procreate.”

She scrunched up her nose, making her look super cute. “But wouldn’t you fight better then? If you have sex, then you have someone to fight for, right?”

Her hand went up to mine, which was still resting on her shoulder. She absentmindedly played with my fingers until she noticed I was watching her, and realized what she’d been doing. She let her hand drop.

I shook my head. “We fight to procreate. Once we’ve had sex, we’ve done the job and have no reason to fight.”

“Hmm.” She nodded. “So I guess now that you aren’t fighting for a while, you’re free to take care of business.” Her gaze drifted down my body.

Both Josh & Sophie have haunting pasts except Sophie's could creep up on them at any moment. 
She tried to keep her distance from Josh but he is one persistent man & offer's her an opportunity of a life time. Upon working together closely they form a friendship but soon neither of them can take the sexual tension. Sophie thinks it's one night of unbridle passion but Josh is in it for the long haul. As he reveals his past to her she knows she has to reveal her's as well. When she does Josh doesn't handle it well but eventually he gets over it and is on a mission to keep her safe. Everything comes to a head and lives are lost but in the end the past is finally put to rest. The sex scenes are hot, hot, hot. Fabulous ending.

I can't help but feel sorry for Eve even know she is one smart mouth feisty chick. She has been doing good and has been avoiding men that is until Cameron. Something about him won't let her say no to him. She will take whatever it is she can get from him even it's only late night booty calls that he wants to keep secret. Cameron has a lot to deal with and falling for Eve wasn't in the plan but the more he tries to push her away the more he realizes he can't live without her. There are a lot of secrets and not so secret stuff that is getting in the way of these two being together. They just have realize what they have is worth fighting through all that to be together. Eve ends up being the one that brings Cameron's family together, and Cameron is the one who gives Eve a family to love. Lot's of Alpha male grunts and growls along with hot, juicy, steamy sex scenes. Fabulous ending. 

We get a lot of Raven and Jonah, some of Blake and Layla but very little on Rex and Georgia.

I have read the first book "Knock-Out" - Well I listened to it through an audio book so I had already gotten a taste of Sophie and Caden. As for this book, I could not for the life of me get into it. Sophie has pretty much hit rock bottom loosing her late night show and having everyone in the MMA world dislike her but she has an idea to get her career back on track- Getting an exclusive with the person who hates her the most Caden Kelly. It's a tough go for Sophie not only with Caden but the other MMA men and the promoter Jerry - they all seem to be out for blood but Caden tends to step in an save her each time. Caden has bigger issues to worry about than Sophie Morelle, but the more time he spends with her he finds out that her tough act is just that. These two have a lot in common, and it will take a trip across the country for them to figure that out. There is danger at every turn. Some hot sex scenes but those too did nothing for me. The ending was good.

* I gave this book a 3 because it was well written I just personally couldn't get into it so to give it anything less would be unfair to the author.

Evelyn has fallen from grace - once a rich kid to now fighting for every dollar she earns. She isn't liked by her co-workers because she is closed off and keeps to herself. When Mateo helps her out during one of her meltdowns, they start to get close. Mateo may be a hot badass fighter, but he is gentle and patience with Evelyn. Evelyn starts to open up and starts enjoying life, but she is plagued with nightmares and she doesn't know why. When she finally remembers what she has blocked out it will take time for her to heal. But will she be too damaged for Mateo to want to wait for? Mateo has his own slew of issues and when Evelyn see's them first hand he isn't so sure that they can make it work. The make out scenes were off the charts. The sex scenes were a mild but good. 

Fabulous ending.

I fell in love with Brody in this book and I'm so excited to get his and Lety story in "Once Loved" coming in Jan 2015.
