Hard To Hold On

ebook erotica review blog tour

Blurb

For the past four months, Natalie Carmichael and Nolan Young have been complete. Everything still feels right in their passion-filled world. It still feels natural - that is until Nolan's mother passes away.
Things begin to turn for the worst for Nolan and his brother Mills. After losing their father from previous years before, it's a tragedy on top of a tragedy. Along with the loss, Natalie and Nolan will face obstacles that they aren't so sure they can handle.
From the New York Times and USA Today Best Selling novel, Hard to Resist, Natalie and Nolan will realize that there is something in their relationship that will have them either wanting to run away or trying to stick through it.
Will Natalie and Nolan stick together? Can they hold on to what they've worked so hard to keep going?
Love was found. Their only hope is that it never gets lost.

Excerpt:
It seemed as if everything was spinning around us. The sunset had faded into night but Nolan was still going. The wind grew harsher, almost intimidating. It seemed as if a tornado was coming our way from being so strong. If I weren’t mistaken, chaos was trying to interrupt our perfect moment.
And then he just stopped. He stared down at me, his eyes confused. Hurt. Lost. He didn’t say a word as he pushed himself into a stand. I couldn’t help but stare at him. I watched his every move. The way he buttoned his jeans sullenly. The way he ran his hand through his hair continuously. Nolan looked down at me, his eyes clouded with worry.
“I have to go,” he murmured, eyes glistening. “She needs me. I have to go.”
I couldn’t speak—I wanted to so badly, but I couldn’t. Where did he have to go? Who needed him? It was then that I’d noticed that I wanted to stand but couldn’t. My body was frozen in place and the only thing that seemed to be moving was my eyes. He started to walk away from me, not looking back at all. I could hear myself crying his name but it was like he couldn’t even hear me. It was like I didn’t even exist—like somehow I had become invisible. Nolan’s walk turned into a sprint in the direction of the moon and I continued to watch until he was gone. Until he was completely out of sight and there was no remainder of his presence.
As soon as he was gone, I happened to inhale and scramble to my feet. I was left in the dark, alone. Terrified. Confused. I raced in the direction he had taken off in and searched for him everywhere, but I couldn’t find him, no matter how hard I’d looked.

****************

This book goes from Natalie's POV to Nolan's POV so that way there's not much room for guessing what each is think - I love that. I couldn't put this book down and I couldn't get them out of my head when I had to. Lot's of miscommunication. Nolan pushes Natalie away while he is grieving but he pushes a little to hard. I was totally pissed at Natalie when she seems to move on entirely way to fast. Things become more clear as their story unfolds. Hot steamy Sex, some scary scenes and an Epilogue that Rocks!

I can't wait to read this book!! I probably read between 7-10 books a month depending on the length. I discovered my love of reading about a year ago when I read Fifty Shades and I haven't stopped since!
